WHAT YOU WILL LEARN :
This programs includes 'Brunch Italiano' (a 3-hour language & cooking lesson), followed by 'Homemade Sweets in Italiano' (a 2-hour cooking lesson).
Beginning with a 1-hour Italian language lesson, you will learn the traditions behind each dish you cook that day, vocabulary of the kitchen, language structure, and grammar. Immediately following the language lesson, you will head into the kitchen for a 2-hour cooking class in which you'll prepare authentic Italian recipes such as Pasta al forno (baked pasta), Polpette al sumo (meatballs in fresh tomato sauce), and Tiramisu. This immersive class is taught completely in Italian and is designed for Beginner Level students.
HOMEMADE SWEETS IN ITALIANO
Ideal for people with an Intermediate or Advanced Level with the Italian language, this class is completely immersive. Each session will be taught and spoken completely in Italian and designed as a 'Conversation Level' class. Each session is 2-hours and brings you immediately into the kitchen to learn authentic recipes for desserts such as Crema al limone con fragole fresche (lemon cream with fresh strawberries), Delizia al mascarpone (mascarpone cheese cream and sop peach juice biscuits with mini dark chocolate chips on top), and Rotolo alla nutella (Nutella roll). During the lesson, you will learn things such as the history of Italian desserts, vocabulary of the kitchen, new verbs, and the 'secret code' of kitchen rules transmitted generation to generation.
*There is a 1-hour break in between the two programs to allow for clean-up and prep
